E-Ryde set out to solve a serious problem: non-medical transport in the Bay area is overbooked, overpriced, and hard to order. Our goal is to make things simpler. Accessible non-medical transport helps hospital patients and those with disabilities live a full life. Whether it’s an appointment, special event, or family gathering, everyone deserves affordable transportation.
That’s where we come in. E-Ryde is a fully mobile and easy-to-use app that allows riders to order their own transportation from anywhere, anytime. Our extensive network of drivers operates throughout the Bay Area.
We offer three tiers of non-medical transport:
Ambulatory Transport
Ambulatory non-medical transport is for those who are able to walk but may need basic assistance as they travel. Our ambulatory drivers are licensed and insured. Every ride takes you door-to-door, wherever you need to go.
Wheelchair Transport
We work with a network of commercial-grade, wheelchair-accessible vans with trained drivers and assistants. Riders can book their transport themselves directly through the app — without the high fees and wait times of other services.
Gurney Transport
Gurney-accessible vehicles are in high demand in the Bay Area. E-Ryde makes it easy for patients, their family members, or caregivers to book an affordable ride any time.

E-Ryde is one of the first non-medical transport services that will be available through booking from the web or phone, anywhere.
There will be 3 E-Ryde categories to look for as a rider:
- Ambulatory - LEVEL 1: Open for potential drivers who have their own regular car and want to work at their own pace and time.
- Wheelchair - LEVEL 2: Open for potential drivers who have a van capable of wheelchair transport.
- Gurney - LEVEL 3: Open for potential drivers who have a vehicle and equipment for gurney and wheelchair transport.
E-Ryde will be open for potential drivers in the USA to provide non-medical transport specifically for riders who do not require a special van.
